Website privacy notice

Last updated 24 October 2026

This notice covers this website and its two forms only: “Book a demo” and “Join the waiting list”. It is not the privacy policy of the Business Master app, which customers receive separately.

Who we are

This website is run by Business Master. For anything in this notice, email us at our contact address. Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), we are the responsible party for the details you send through these forms.

What the forms collect

  • Book a demo: your name, company, email address, phone number (if you give it), the number of painters you employ (as a range), and any message you write.
  • Join the waiting list: your name, company and email address.
  • With each form, the country your request came from, as reported by our hosting provider, so we can spot spam.

The website uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party scripts.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to your demo request and arrange a time.
  • To email you when self sign-up opens, if you joined the waiting list.

We use your details only for these purposes. We do not sell them, share them for marketing, or add you to any other mailing list.

Where it goes

When you send a form, your details are emailed to Business Master's own inbox. To do that, they pass through two service providers: Cloudflare, which hosts this website and runs the form, and Resend, which delivers the email. These providers may process the details outside South Africa, under their own data protection terms. If the form service is unavailable, the website instead opens your own email app with your details filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to reply and follow up, and we delete them within 12 months of our last contact with you. Waiting-list details are deleted once we have sent the launch email, unless you go on to become a customer or ask us to stay in touch.

Your rights, and how to ask for deletion

Under POPIA you may ask us what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, object to how we use them, or ask us to delete them. Email us at our contact address from the address you used on the form, tell us what you want, and we will reply and act on it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Changes

If we change what the forms collect or how we use it, we will update this notice and the date at the top.
